This Before & After is done for a bachelor in the Orlando area, by the company that I work for Rooms Alive. This one isn't one of my specific projects, I just wanted to show you how awesome they are.

Memorial Day

My brother in law Captain John Ryan Dennison was killed during his tour in Iraq. We still think about and remember him daily.  His squadron just received a Presidential Citation, the highest award given to an entire unit for combat heroism on Wednesday. You can see the article HERE . We are all very proud that his unit is still being remembered. Lots of love on this Memorial Day.   

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!

The boy and I got new beach cruisers this week. Mine is a happy yellow and his is an awesome matte black. He actually had a blue one and took it apart, sanded it and spray painted it.  It's now murdered out. It turned out really great. I'll see if I can take some pics this weekend. We don't really have plans just hanging with friends, hitting the beach, and riding the new whips.

The new issue of Rue Magazine is out. This is their fifth issue and I can't stop looking at it. Since the death of Domino Mag this is the next best thing, thanks girls for filling the void. Cheap Monday!!

Anthropologie does a really great job of using usually discarded materials and creating beautiful window and merchandising displays. Each store has a team that creates these local pieces of art. It got me thinking about what I could make around my house for my table or mantle. I loved these displays.

The weather has been so nice. I've been wanting to live outside. Maybe this weekend the hubby and I will play a game of backgammon on the porch with a few mojitos. Doesn't that sound great.

Happy Mother's Day Weekend!!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend hanging out with Mom. This is a first Mother's Day for my sister and a few of my friends. That makes this my Mom's first grandmother Mother's Day. What a special time. Love you Mom!! And to all of you Mom's out there Happy Mother's Day!
