Here are a few things over at Forever 21 that I like. I really like their line Love 21 . This is a more contemporary grown up version of Forever 21. They even have a Maternity section. These pieces would make my fall wardrobe very happy. The best thing is that not one of these pieces are over $30, and a couple of those tops are actually silk!

Baby Shower

This weekend I helped to host a baby shower for one of my college girlfriends. She is having a boy!! I'm so happy for her and her new little family. Here are a few pics of the decor.

Cheap Monday!!

It's the little things that make a big difference in a bathroom. Those little details don't have to cost a lot of money. The storage jars are beautiful and look a lot better than putting a box of q -tips on the shelf. Baskets are also a huge help for hiding all of those misc things that accumulate in the bathroom. A few coats of white paint, a vintage mirror, fluffy white towels and you have a gorgeous bathroom. The flower is a nice touch too. :)

Snake Sneak Peak

This is a brand new fabric from Robert Allen for the fall collection. We recieved it at work the other day and there is a debate weather we like it or not. I personally love it. What do you think??

Grey Days

You know how cartoon characters wear the same thing everyday? If I was to be a cartoon character the outfit I would be wearing everyday would be a grey t - shirt and jeans.  A pair of ballet flats (maybe a pair of heals) with a cardigan in the fall and winter episodes and a necklace and some giant shades in the spring and summer episodes. What would your chartoon character outfit be?

Cheap Monday!!

Yes it's true. Jonathan Adler i phone cases exist. I have been wanting to carry one of his rugs around with me because I love it so much, but I think this might be a little easier (and a heck of a lot cheaper). The best thing is that these are only $20 and you can get them HERE .  Now which one do you think I can sneak onto my husband's i phone??

Jewelry

Your jewelry collection can make just as big of an impact in your bedroom or dressing area as it does with  your outfits everyday. You hand picked each of your items because they speak to you in a certain way or they were handed down from a family member. To have them all grouped together is rather poetic and definitely very personal. This is a great way to enjoy all of your jewelry even if you don't get to wear them that often.

Rustic Chic

This is a wonderful little renovation of an awesome restaurant in San Diego called the Smoking Goat. This is an example of how you don't have to have a lot of money to make a huge improvement on your space. They used heaps of recycled materials, (and probably a river of paint) and it turned out beautifully.

Oh Boy!!

This little boy's room is one of my favorite kids rooms. I love to see more grown up stylish pieces in a children's room. I love that there is no real theme but lots of graphic prints. 

Hooray for stylish kids and their parents.

Happy Labor Day Weekend

Hurricane Earl has turned up quite a few waves here in Florida and my husband has gone into a surf frenzy. The surf-report has called for EPIC surf. Needless to say we are going to the beach this weekend to hang with some friends, get in the water, and enjoy this long weekend.

 I hope you enjoy whatever you get into.

Happy 90210 Day!!

Well it's not official but today is 9-02-10  so why not.  Here are a few throw back pictures for you to remember how awesome the 90's were.

Room of the Day.....

I love everything about this room. I love the classic headboards with the little brass nail heads and the beautiful grey fabric. I love the white crisp bedding with the pop of a floral traditional pillow. The table in-between the beds makes the whole room and creates an eclectic mix that I can't get enough of. The window treatment and it's scale are genius. The unexpected details of the royal blue rug and the wallpapered ceiling make this room pop. Overall I'm in love...
