Big News!

Sorry I've been MIA for a while! Actually a few months! I'll try to be better at posting I promise.

So the big news is that Ben and I are having a little girl!! We are so excited that apparently I've been sort of a slacker lately! The little lady is due March 17th. I have been busy dreaming up the nursery. Here is my design plan. Over the Christmas break I am going to try to tackle a few of these projects and I'll post the updates!

The Shades: Roller shades with ribbon detail I plan to make. 

The Chair: Registered for at Babies R US. (least expensive with the most style I've been looking everywhere!!)

Crib: Jenny Lind in White

Armoire: Lucky find on Craigslist (I plan on painting it white and adding Anthropologie knobs)

(ambitious plan with the armoire is to also wallpaper the inside!)

Rug: Oversock.com steel of a rug! Only $147.00

Mobile: Ben's uncle is going to make it for me. Oragami animals

Artwall: Antlers: West Elm, Art: Etsy, Letters: Urban Outfitters

Table: West Elm or a Craigslist find and paint! 

Fur: Ikea

Chandelier: Ikea

Paint: Gray

Bedding: Etsy custom bedding.

Cutest thing of the week..

I found this little website the other day and have been obsessing how cute these little shoes are. I don't have any kids but I know some little girls that would look adorable in these. The peep toes kill me with those little sausage toes sticking out! Check out the website Joy Folie. Oh and you have to check out the blog too because her photos are adorable.

Boy oh Boy....

My sister is having her baby shower this weekend!! I'm off to Raleigh to help throw the shower. Hopefully I'll have some really cute pics of the decor when I return. What a wonderful weekend to help celebrate my sister and little Jackson Thomas coming into this world. It will be an amazing family weekend.

PS This cute little outfit was made by my friend at the local farmer's market here in Orlando. Happy Cow Company. 

Baby Shower

This weekend I helped to host a baby shower for one of my college girlfriends. She is having a boy!! I'm so happy for her and her new little family. Here are a few pics of the decor.
