Cheap Monday!!

Happy Thanksgiving Week! Today is a little post about how you can decorate a beautiful table this Thanksgiving without spending a lot of money. Just look outside for your inspiration. Nature is so beautiful this time of year, all you need to do is add a few of the natural elements and you have a beautiful table. One thing I like to do is add a beautiful floral arrangement, a place card (which makes everyone feel like you have made a special effort just for them), and some fresh fruit, nuts, or pumpkins. If you can't afford a beautiful tablecloth, look in your linen closet for a decorative sheet. I have a brown Ralph Lauren king sheet with red roses on it that would work perfect. Here are a few inspiration pics to help you set a beautiful table this year. Another tip is to set the table a few days early, it will help you get in the Holiday Spirit.

Baby Shower

This weekend I helped to host a baby shower for one of my college girlfriends. She is having a boy!! I'm so happy for her and her new little family. Here are a few pics of the decor.

Hello August....

Lets have a party...

I really love the color combination of this little party. The blush and gold is so beautiful it reminds me of a sunset. I think these are wonderful colors to slide into fall and still cling to summer. Enjoy your August and the end of your summer.

Since yesterday was the first official day of summer lets have a party!! 

Table Top Vignette

These are the most tricky things to do in the design industry. It's hard to try to create a wonderful mix of objects that look beautiful together and tell a story of the homeowner. Sometimes they just come out looking like a heap of clutter. I thought these below were done beautifully.

Blog Love

This is my friend Danielle's Blog. She has a wonderful flower company called Brown Paper Designs. She is based out of California and does the most beautiful events. She is super talented and I really love her style.

This is Baxter he is the best dog in the world and his home is that little Brooklyn apartment that I blogged about yesterday.  Oh and I LOVE this black tablecloth with the graphic little napkin and not to mention those flowers!

Style Tips .........

Happy Birthday Mama Pat!! It's my Grandmother's birthday and I thought I'd share with you some of the style tips that I've learned from her. She is one stylish lady........

1. Food tastes better when the table looks pretty.

                          

 2. Gold mirrors, Oriental accents, chandeliers, and beautiful wallpaper make everything better.

3. If it's French.......it's a good thing.

Happy Easter!! 

I actually set my table for Easter Brunch on Wednesday! Have a Happy Easter and a great weekend. We are going to the beach with friends, church, brunch, then an egg toss! Have a great weekend.
